When it comes to the ultimate It-bag how far would you go to purchase it? The handbag is a main fashion statement that has the female population quiver with excitement. Whether it’s the average working woman or glamorous celebrities, the handbag is an accessory that women from all walks of life have a weak spot for.
Nowadays it seems the classic essential has prepared us to do bizarre things to make a purchase. This could sometimes lead to some matting their credit cards so they can clasp their hands on the latest buttery soft leather Chanel Bag. Or some go for the rental option where they pay installments once a week, so they can still have the opportunity to own it.
But designer bags over the decades have completely changed the concept of owning a bag. It has nothing to do with how the bag feels but it’s about the individual feeling empowered and special. However if we were to explain this to males they wouldn’t have a clue.

Imagine the scene from Confessions of a Shopaholic. The main character Rebecca went to a sale where she saw a pair of shoes she liked. However she decided to put the shoes back and another person took the pair, but Rebecca quickly changed her mind and snatched the pair off the person.
This is some of the behaviors women might go through to get the must have accessory to stand out from the sheepish crowd of fashion followers. Although to feel stylish fashion bags doesn’t have to involve highly priced products to fit in with fashionistas
Whatever marketing strategies designers use to attract our attention, whether the attractive silky interior or finding the bag in a glossy magazine, women look beyond the shameful price tag and look at how it could boost their confidence.
