The shoe has many connotations relating to how women feel when they wear a pair.
Whether it’s the way the high heels change our frumpy stature to an elegant pose or hearing the sound of them echo on concrete pavements, the female fascination with shoes is indescribable.
Since the existence of Sex and the City’s TV series and movie sequels this has set the pace for shoes galore. Women from around the globe have constantly tried to keep up to date with the Carrie Bradshaw and Co.’s high-end tastes for Jimmy Choo to Christian Louboutin.
However, the obsession of owning an amazing pair has sometimes lead to individuals owning more than what they need. Also it can sometimes end up in an embarrassing brawl for a pair you love.
For instance this scene from the Hannah Montana film is a funny example.
The delicacy and craftsmanship that goes into shoes have made shopping trips paradise. When you examine a shoe for striking detail before you make your purchase creates a rush of excitement.
It seems the female demographic will do anything to fit into a pair of beautiful heels, even if the shoes are one or two sizes smaller. They come in all different shapes, heights and sizes that make us spoilt for choice. Even when you get a glimpse of the luxurious fabrics that trail down catwalks and feature in Vogue Magazine we still have the urge to copy mainstream fashion.
For instance look at Alexandra McQueen’s shoes they are full of imagination and passion. This use of artistic flair is shown in music videos such as Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance where she wore his crab claw design on her set and the controversial gun heel by Chanel Madonna wore in 2008.
Shoes can heighten the imagination of fashion consensus women, whether it’s the electric blues or bright oranges colour can really spice up any outfit you want, even if you want to stand out from the office.
Whatever age you are, shoes can make women to feel confident and feminine. On the plus side you also burn extra calories when you take those bold steps in heels that can help to tone your calves.
